Celebrities Give Back

Selena Gomez gives back at a Unicef gathering where she is so sweet and signs autographs while helping little children. Well done Selena!

Also, Zac Efron was busy helping critically ill children the other day, with an excerpt from Yahoo! OMG! will show just that.

“Christmas came early for patients at L.A.’s Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA and their families when Zac Efron stopped by for a visit — and helped give away $10,000 worth of toys on Friday.

Visiting with critically ill patients for approximately two hours, Efron partnered with Gifts.com to hand out toys including electronic keyboards, Tickle Me Elmo dolls, art sets, board games and High School Musical products.

“He really spent time bonding with each of the children and their families,” a source at the event told Usmagazine.com. In between passing out gifts, Efron signed autographs and posed for photos with hospital staff.

“The kids were smitten and beaming from ear to ear,” adds the source. “Some of the kids couldn’t even speak, but they had the widest grins and would sit as close to him as possible.

“Zac was super gracious and could not have been more kind and truly happy to be there,” reports the source. “

And Jennifer Aniston as well. She’s been working with childrens’ hospitals everywhere with the “Thanks and Giving” fundraising drive!

Hilary Duff too! She participated in a very good charity. Excerpt from ‘Us Magazine’s’ website shows us this.

“Blessingsinabackpack.com gives kids who get federally funded meals during the week backpacks of food to take home for the weekend. “You can have the best teachers and curriculum, but if kids aren’t eating they will not concentrate and perform,” Duff – who has been buying meals for two years – tells Us.”

Disney Channel Games 2008 Champions: Inferno!

The DC Games 2008 Champs…TEAM INFERNO! You’ve watched all five weeks and then it came down to the wire when Comets and Inferno were tied for first. Then, in the final obstacle course challenge, it was anybodys game. But after the “super sudsy foam” obstacle where you must find your team’s 5 colored balls, the red team took off. That was the beginning of the end for the other teams. Then, if the Cyclones weren’t far enough behind, one of their players was stuck in the tricycle challenge. Putting them far behind, but still in front of the poor Lightning team. Final Results: INFERNO: 75 COMETS: 70 CYCLONES & LIGHTNING: 55. See you next year for the 2009 DC Games!
